Bulk materials handling and powder processing equipment specialist ProSpare has secured a trio of the latest ISO certifications, highlighting our commitment to operational excellence.
Having previously held ISO 9001:2008, we have now achieved certifications for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 management systems. These internationally recognised standards verify our commitment to quality assurance, occupational health and safety and environmental best practice.
ProSpare was awarded the certifications by Alcumus, a compliance solutions provider that is accredited by UKAS, the UK’s national accreditation body for certification providers.
The three individual standards establish international best practice for business processes.
ISO 9001:2015 provides a management framework to improve business practices, helping those who hold it to provide products and services that exceed their customers’ expectations. The standard prescribes systematic control of the processes that ProSpare uses, to help achieve greater efficiency and performance through improved customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continuous improvement.
ISO 45001:2018 is the new international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. Achieving it ratifies ProSpare’s processes for managing risk and ensures compliance with legislation.
And ISO 14001:2015 is the internationally-recognised standard for the environmental management of businesses, prescribing controls on activities which affect the environment. It sets out requirements for ProSpare’s environmental management system, enabling us to put in place a policy and objectives that consider relevant legal and CSR obligations.
ProSpare solves bulk materials handling and powder processing problems throughout the UK. Founded in 2007, it has undergone significant growth and last year, moved into a new purpose-built two-storey office block and warehousing unit, which is home to its growing team of engineers, site fitters and expanded stockholding of specialist equipment and components
The three certifications will make it easier than ever to work with the company, as it means ProSpare can easily meet standard industry tender or preferred supplier status requirements.
David Bullock, ProSpare’s Operations Director, said:
“We’re delighted to have achieved these certifications, which verify the effectiveness of our internal processes and demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement.
“We’re always keen to set our standards high, giving our clients confidence in our business and the way in which we operate.
“As a forward-thinking company, we’ve always embraced innovation and new ways of operating if it helps us to be better and do things in a more efficient manner. These accreditations mark the next phase of our evolution as a business.”
